Tracy Brooks, OD

Dr. Tracy Brooks is so excited to be opening her own practice in East Northport. She grew up in the area and is currently living here, raising her own family.

Dr. Brooks started her optometric career as an assistant to an optometrist over 25 years ago. After finishing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Buffalo, she continued her studies at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City finishing in 1999.

Working in private practice for many years for other optometrists, she knows exactly the type of practice she wants to have. She wants to offer her patients a different, intimate experience than they’ve had in the past, come and be a part of the Lux Eye Care Studio family.

Throughout her 20 year career as an optometrist, Dr. Brooks has really enjoyed caring for patients of all ages, whether it be general optometry, contact lenses, frame and lens selection, ocular disease, or co-management of ocular surgery. As a mother of three children, her warm, caring, and calming personality really comes through when examining all her patients.

Dr. Brooks keeps up with all the latest trends and is ardently dedicated to the profession.

When Dr. Brooks is not busy caring for her patients, you can catch her at a Broadway show, at the movies, traveling to new places, skiing, cooking or baking exciting recipes, or just spending time with her family. She would like to thank her husband Jeff for all the love and support he gives her, her children Caitlyn, Emma, and Ryder who make her want to achieve her best, for her mom and dad who have always guided her and cheered her on, and for Baxter and Harley for all their puppy love.
