Owner, Dr. Tracy Brooks, went to the University of Buffalo for undergrad and finished her studies at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. Having begun her career as an assistant to an optometrist, she worked in the field for twenty-five years, and by then, knew she was ready to open her own practice. For Dr. Brooks, she always envisioned exactly what it was she wanted: a boutique eye studio that offered concierge service and an intimate experience for patients.

At Lux Eye Care Studio, Dr. Brooks and her staff provide a number of cutting-edge vision care services and products including: comprehensive eye health exams, medical exams, contact lens exams, compassionate care, plus in-demand lenses and frames. They also carry a large selection of all your favorite brands and more. From Prada, Gucci, Tiffany, St. Laurant and Michael Kors, to Coach, Ray-Ban, Modo, Dilli Dalli, and their latest – Miu Miu, it’s evident that Dr. Brooks likes to keep up with the latest trends.

Upon walking into Lux Eye Care Studio, you’re immediately treated like family and catered to with the best care. Throughout Dr. Brooks’ twenty years as an optometrist, she has enjoyed helping patients of all ages, no matter what the case may be: frame and lens selection, general optometry, treating ocular disease, dry eye, Glaucoma, AMD, etc.. As a mother of three children and a woman dedicated to her profession, Dr. Brooks’s warm and calming personality certainly shines through when examining each patient.

At Lux Eye Care Studio, they are committed to improving the quality of life for the surrounding community through enhanced vision. Dr. Brooks along with her assistant Sherry (who both live locally), are always looking to get involved with the community however possible. As a matter of fact, one of the many ways Dr. Brooks stays connected, is by being a member of the East Northport Chamber of Commerce.

She is up-to-date on the latest technology and medications, plus she maintains excellent relations with local ophthalmologists and will steer you in the right direction if need be.
